Abstract

Transformasi pendidikan abad ke-21 membutuhkan integrasi pendidikan karakter dengan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual dan berpusat pada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengelolaan pendidikan karakter berbasis proyek melalui implementasi Proyek Penguatan Profil Siswa Pancasila (P5) di sekolah menengah Indonesia. Desain studi kasus komparatif kualitatif digunakan di dua sekolah menengah atas negeri di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur mendalam, dan analisis dokumen, dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Temuan tersebut mengungkapkan bahwa implementasi Project-Based Learning (PjBL) yang efektif didukung oleh praktik manajerial kolaboratif, transformasi pedagogis menuju agensi mahasiswa, dan proses evaluasi reflektif yang mendorong pembelajaran organisasi. Studi ini juga menunjukkan bagaimana strategi manajemen adaptif memungkinkan sekolah untuk mengatasi kendala sumber daya sambil mempertahankan inisiatif pengembangan karakter. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi fungsi manajemen pendidikan dengan praktik pedagogis berbasis proyek sebagai kerangka analitis pendidikan karakter. Secara teoritis, penelitian ini memperluas literatur tentang manajemen pendidikan dengan memposisikan PjBL sebagai strategi manajerial sistemik daripada sekadar metode instruksional. Secara praktis, temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi pimpinan sekolah dan guru dalam mengembangkan praktik kepemimpinan kolaboratif dan penilaian holistik untuk mendukung inovasi kurikulum yang berkelanjutan.
