Penerapan dan Manfaat RFID dalam Manajemen Inventaris Industri Logistik serta Keterbatasannya

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan teknologi Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) dalam manajemen inventaris di industri logistik. Berdasarkan studi literatur dari berbagai sumber, RFID terbukti mampu meningkatkan akurasi data, mempercepat proses logistik, serta memberikan visibilitas secara real-time terhadap pergerakan barang. Selain mendukung otomatisasi gudang dan pelacakan rantai dingin (cold chain), teknologi ini juga memungkinkan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data aktual. Meskipun menawarkan berbagai keuntungan, implementasi RFID masih menghadapi tantangan seperti biaya awal yang tinggi, integrasi sistem yang kompleks, serta isu keamanan dan kebutuhan pelatihan bagi pengguna. Dengan perencanaan yang tepat dan kesiapan infrastruktur, RFID memiliki potensi besar untuk menjadi teknologi kunci dalam membangun sistem logistik yang lebih efisien dan adaptif.
