Abstract

Isu ketimpangan gender terhadap kaum perempuan masih menjadi hal yang patut disesalkan. Perempuan sering dianggap tidak memiliki daya untuk bersaing secara setara di berbagai bidang. Padahal, kenyataannya mereka memiliki potensi agar bisa setara dan punya kapasitas yang sebanding dengan kaum laki-laki. Laporan Global Gender Gap Report 2023 yang dirilis oleh World Economic Forum (WEF) semakin memperlihatkan adanya kesenjangan terhadap partisipasi perempuan di segala aspek. Sebelumnya, Indonesia sempat meraih peringkat 80 pada tahun 2022. Kemudian, turun menjadi peringkat 87 pada 2023. Menurut Indonesia Business Coalition for Women Empowerment (IBCWE) (2023), skor kesetaraan gender Indonesia tetap stagnan di angka 0,697 sejak tahun 2022. Makalah ini akan mencoba menguraikan keterkaitan antara konsep Alpha Female yang melekat pada setiap diri perempuan kemudian dihubungkan dengan kompetensi SDM Makalah ini akan mencoba menguraikan keterkaitan antara konsep Alpha Female yang melekat pada setiap diri perempuan kemudian dihubungkan dengan kompetensi SDM, dengan meneliti bagaimana karakteristik dan sifat-sifat yang terkandung dalam konsep Alpha Female dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kompetensi sumber daya manusia (SDM).
