Digital Storytelling Dilema Moral pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar: Penalaran Moral dan Dimensi Gender

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan profil pertimbangan moral siswa sekolah dasar berdasarkan teori tahap perkembangan moral Lawrence Kohlberg, dengan menyoroti perbedaan respons antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah urgensi penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui media yang kontekstual, seperti animasi digital berbasis dilema moral, yang terbukti mampu memicu elaborasi kognitif dan afektif anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif-komparatif dengan desain potong lintang. Sebanyak 36 siswa kelas atas di SDN 2 Kenanga (14 laki-laki, 22 perempuan) memberikan respons terhadap lima cerita animasi dilema moral, yang dianalisis menggunakan enam tahap Kohlberg (Pre 1–2, Konv 1–2, Post 1–2). Hasil menunjukkan dominasi alasan konvensional (terutama Konv-1) pada seluruh cerita, dengan lonjakan alasan pra-konvensional (Pre-1) saat cerita memuat beban emosi tinggi. Perempuan cenderung lebih stabil pada Konv-1 dengan kemunculan post-konvensional kecil, sedangkan laki-laki menunjukkan variasi lebih besar dan lebih banyak Pre-1 terutama dalam dilema emosional. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media animasi dapat menjadi sarana efektif memfasilitasi pertumbuhan moral, jika didesain berjenjang dan sensitif terhadap gender.
