Transformasi Ekonomi Biru sebagai Model Pembangunan Berkelanjutan di Pesisir Kabupaten Lembata

Ekonomi masyarakat dikabupaten lembata didominasi oleh sektor perikanan tangkap tradisional. Ketergantungan yang besar terhadap sektor perikanan mengakibatkan pendapatan keluarga nelayan menjadi rentan terhadap masalah musim, penurunan jumlah ikan, serta kurangnya teknologi dan variasi usaha. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk transformasi ekonomi biru yang relevan dan bekelanjutan dalam meningkatkan nilai pendapatan rumah tangga nelayan, model pembangunan berkelanjutan berbasis transformasi ekonomi biru yang dapat di terapkan pada komunitas nelayan serta implementasi strategi transformasi ekonomi biru yang melibatkan pemerintah daerah, komunitas nelayan dalam mendorong peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat pesisir. Kebaruanya terletak pada pendekatan holistik yang mengungkapkan integrasi dimensi ekonomi, sosial dan kebijakan dalam konteks transformasi ekonomi biru dan pembangunan berkelanjutan merupakan suatu fenomena yang masih jarang diteliti di wilayah Timur Indonesia, khususnya pesisir Kabupaten Lembata
Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, FGD, dan studi dokumentasi, dengan analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Informan pada penelitian ini mencakup 20 orang. Hasil penelitan membuktikan bahwa bentuk transformasi ekonomi biru yang relevan dengan kondisi masyarakat nelayan di Kabupaten Lembata secara berkelanjutan melalui diversifikasi usaha, peningkatan nilai tambah hasil laut, modernisasi teknologi penangkaan yang ramah lingkungan serta penguatan kapasitas kelembagaan. Pada penerapanya, ekonomi biru di pesisir kabupaten Lembata dilakukan secar kolektif oleh pemerintah setempat, komunitas nelayan, perguruan tinggi, perusahaan swasta, serta usaha mikro, kecil dan menegah (UMKM). Kolaborasi ini meningkatkan sektor perikanan, wisata, pemberdayaan masyarakat serta menjaga kontinuitas sumberdaya laut.
