Analisis Kolaborasi Uni Afrika dan World Food Programme Untuk Menanggulangi Krisis Pangan di Republik Demokratik Kongo

Abstract

Studi ini mengkaji kolaborasi antara Uni Afrika dan World Food Programme  dalam menangani krisis pangan di Republik Demokratik Kongo. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi pustaka, analisis dilakukan terhadap berbagai faktor penyebab kerawanan pangan yang kompleks di RDK, seperti kemiskinan ekstrem, konflik bersenjata, degradasi lahan, dan dampak perubahan iklim. Studi ini menyoroti inisiatif intervensi kemanusiaan yang dijalankan melalui program-program seperti Home-Grown School Feeding (HGSF) dan Comprehensive African Agricultural Development Programme , yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produksi pangan lokal, mendistribusikan bantuan secara tepat, serta membuka akses pasar bagi petani kecil. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sinergi antara lembaga internasional, pemerintah, dan masyarakat lokal merupakan kunci dalam menciptakan sistem pangan yang lebih tangguh dan berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan terintegrasi yang menggabungkan bantuan kemanusiaan, pembangunan pertanian, dan upaya perdamaian dianggap esensial untuk mengurangi kerentanan pangan dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat di RDK. Hasil analisis ini memberikan rekomendasi penting bagi perumusan kebijakan strategis yang dapat mengoptimalkan peran kemitraan multilateral dalam mengatasi krisis pangan dan mendorong pembangunan ekonomi yang inklusif di kawasan tersebut
