Kebijakan Hukum Terhadap Perlindungan Keanekaragaman Hayati Di Era Perubahan Iklim

Indonesia adalah negara dengan keanekaragaman hayati yang kaya dan beragam, terdiri dari berbagai jenis hutan di seluruh nusantaranya. Namun, negara ini menghadapi ancaman signifikan terhadap keanekaragaman hayatinya karena perubahan iklim, penggundulan hutan, dan degradasi habitat. Penelitian ini mengkaji kebijakan hukum yang berlaku untuk perlindungan keanekaragaman hayati di Indonesia, terutama dalam konteks tantangan yang semakin meningkat yang ditimbulkan oleh perubahan iklim. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Indonesia telah mengambil beberapa langkah untuk mengatasi perubahan iklim dan perlindungan keanekaragaman hayati, seperti mengadopsi program Pengurangan Emisi dari Deforestasi di Negara Berkembang dan membentuk Dewan Nasional Perubahan Iklim, kebijakan dan mekanisme penegakan yang ada perlu diperkuat lebih lanjut untuk secara efektif memitigasi dampak perubahan iklim terhadap warisan alam yang kaya di negara itu.
