Analisis Sistem Pengendalian Mutu Pada Perusahaan Garmen Studi Kasus Proses Sewing di PT. X Bandung

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem pengendalian mutu pada proses sewing di PT X serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab tingginya tingkat defect produk, khususnya broken stitch. Data produksi tahun 2022–2024 menunjukkan bahwa defect pada proses sewing mendominasi total cacat produk dengan persentase lebih dari 80%, di mana broken stitch menjadi jenis cacat dengan frekuensi tertinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan langsung dari lapangan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan supervisor dan operator, serta penelusuran dokumen produksi. Untuk menggali akar permasalahan broken stitch, digunakan diagram Ishikawa yang membedah empat aspek: manusia, mesin, metode kerja, dan material. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa pengendalian mutu di bagian sewing masih belum optimal. Penyebab utamanya yaitu belum terdapat SOP tertulis yang jelas dan lengkap untuk proses penjahitan. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penyusunan SOP Sewing yang komprehensif sebagai pedoman baku bagi operator dalam menjalankan proses penjahitan mulai dari pemeriksaan kondisi mesin, pemasangan jarum yang benar, melakukan test sewing, sampai prosedur inspeksi hasil jahitan. Dengan menerapkan hal tersebut, diharapkan kualitas jahitan bisa lebih konsisten, angka cacat dan pengerjaan ulang menurun sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas.
