Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis secara empiris “Pengaruh kecerdasan emosional serta disiplin kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja serta kinerja tenaga kependidikan pada Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Mulawarman”. Data dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling berbasis Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) dengan bantuan SmartPLS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan kecerdasan emosional dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kecerdasan emosional dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja. Kepuasan kerja menunjukkan arah hubungan positif terhadap kinerja. Peningkatan kinerja tenaga kependidikan tidak dapat dilepaskan dari penguatan faktor psikologis dan perilaku kerja. Kecerdasan emosional berperan sebagai modal personal yang membantu pegawai mengelola tekanan, membangun relasi layanan, dan menjaga stabilitas perilaku. Disiplin kerja berperan sebagai mekanisme organisasi yang memastikan pekerjaan berjalan tepat waktu, sesuai prosedur, dan bertanggung jawab. Kepuasan kerja berperan sebagai luaran sikap kerja yang penting.
