Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengadaptasi Academic Burnout Scale (ABS) yang dikembangkan oleh Jan & Parveen (2024) ke dalam versi Indonesia serta memvalidasi struktur multidimensinya pada mahasiswa. Proses adaptasi dilakukan melalui penerjemahan, back translation, dan penilaian ahli, kemudian diuji coba pada 137 mahasiswa dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ABS versi Indonesia memiliki validitas isi dan konstruk yang kuat dengan enam dimensi yang konsisten. Dimensi hubungan negatif dengan teman sebaya, kelelahan, dan ketidakefektifan akademik ditemukan berkontribusi paling besar terhadap burnout akademik. Temuan ini menegaskan relevansi ABS dalam menggambarkan kompleksitas burnout akademik mahasiswa di Indonesia serta menyediakan instrumen yang dapat diandalkan untuk penelitian dan intervensi di pendidikan tinggi.
