Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur persepsi siswa sekolah menengah atas di Kota Kupang terhadap penggunaan Learning Management System (LMS) dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Asumsi dasar penelitian ini adalah bahwa semakin positif persepsi siswa terhadap pemanfaatan LMS, maka semakin efektif pula LMS digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif terhadap 437 siswa dari dua sekolah unggulan di Kota Kupang. Fokus analisis adalah pada persepsi siswa terhadap penggunaan LMS, yang mencakup dukungan sekolah, kebiasaan digital, akses terhadap teknologi, serta pengaruh sosial dan organisasi dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki persepsi yang sangat positif terhadap LMS dalam mendukung pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Meskipun sebagian besar siswa masih memiliki tingkat berpikir kritis yang rendah, mereka meyakini bahwa LMS dapat membantu secara efektif dalam peningkatan kemampuan tersebut. Persepsi positif juga ditemukan pada aspek dukungan sekolah, keterlibatan digital, dan pengaruh sosial-organisasi. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa LMS dipersepsikan sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis jika diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.
