Studi Reliabilitas dan Validitas Alat Ukur Self-Acceptance Scale (SAS) pada Remaja Penyandang Disabilitas Fisik (PDF) di Indonesia

Abstract

Self-acceptance adalah kondisi saat individu bersedia mengakui dan menerima dengan baik kelebihan dan keterbatasan yang dimilikinya. Self-acceptance menjadi salah satu aspek psikologis yang penting bagi individu, khususnya bagi remaja yang berada dalam kondisi disabilitas fisik. Untuk mengidentifikasi self-acceptance dibutuhkan suatu alat ukur. Riset ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi psikometris alat ukur SAS-PDF (Self-Acceptance Scale pada Remaja Penyandang Disabilitas Fisik). Partisipan riset berjumlah 120, dengan 64 partisipan laki-laki dan 54 partisipan perempuan. Partisipan berusia rata-rata 12-21 tahun (SD = 2.293). Berdasarkan hasil riset, dapat dinyatakan bahwa SAS-PDF memiliki lima informasi psikometris: (a) content validity; (b) internal consistency reliability; (c) norma pengukuran SAS-PDF; (d) criterion validity terhadap rasa belas kasih kepada diri (self-compassion); dan (e) construct validity convergent evidence berdasarkan penghargaan terhadap kondisi tubuh (body appreciation); dan construct validity discriminant evidence berdasarkan ketekunan (grit). Kelima informasi psikometris dapat menjadi dasar SAS-PDF layak digunakan untuk membantu para psikolog dan praktisi tunadaksa dalam melakukan asesmen dan dasar untuk melakukan program peningkatan penerimaan diri remaja yang mengalami disabilitas fisik.
