Abstract

Pemenuhan komitmen NDC (Nationally Determined Contributions) setiap negara dalam Perjanjian Paris merupakan kunci utama dalam upaya global untuk mengatasi dampak emisi karbon dan keberlangsungan industri ramah lingkungan bagi seluruh aspek lapisan masyarakat. Namun, Indonesia sebagai negara berkembang menghadapi kesenjangan dalam mewujudkan komitmen NDC-nya tersebut. Penelitian ini mengkaji upaya kolaborasi Indonesia dengan Jepang sebagai negara maju untuk mencapai komitmen NDC Indonesia dalam Perjanjian Paris menggunakan konsep liberal institusionalisme dan metode kualitatif melalui studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor terjalinnya kolaborasi antara Indonesia dan Jepang adalah kesenjangan yang dihadapi oleh Indonesia serta kemampuan inovasi dan keuangan Jepang sebagai aspek keunggulan spesialisasinya untuk mendukung pencapaian komitmen NDC Indonesia dalam Perjanjian Paris. Hubungan kolaborasi ini dapat memberikan manfaat yang saling menguntungkan baik secara nasional maupun regional. Kesimpulan dari analisis ini adalah manfaat kolaborasi yang dihasilkan oleh Indonesia dan Jepang berupa berbagai MoU kerja sama terutama dalam sektor sumber listrik energi terbarukan dan potensi pengaruh keseimbangan kekuatan industri Jepang dalam kawasan regional Asia, terutama dalam sektor energi terbarukan.
