Pengaruh Customer Orientation, Knowledge Spillover dan Entrepreneurial Orientation terhadap Firm Performance UMKM Fesyen Batik dimediasi Innovation Capabilities

UMKM batik di Jawa Timur dan Jawa Tengah menghadapi tantangan yaitu lingkungan dinamis dan persaingan yang ketat. Untuk tetap relevan di pasar, maka UMKM batik penting untuk mengembangkan strategi yang efektif dan beradaptasi di lingkungan sehingga memperoleh kinerja bisnis yang optimal. Dalam konteks ini, customer orientation, entrepreneurial orientation dan knowledge spillover dianggap sebagai faktor strategis yang dapat meningkatkan innovation capabilities UMKM batik untuk menghasilkan peningkatan firm performance.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh customer orientation, entrepreneurial orientation dan knowledge spillover terhadap firm performance UMKM fesyen batik di Jawa Timur dan Jawa Tengah dengan innovation capabilities sebagai variabel mediasi. Objek penelitian yang digunakan adalah UMKM batik yang berlokasi di Jawa Timur dan Jawa Tengah. Sumber data didapatkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dilakukan secara daring dengan menggunakan Google-form. Teknik analisis yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah SEM-PLS.Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel independen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap innovation capabilities, dengan entrepreneurial orientation memiliki pengaruh paling besar dua variabel lainnya. Selain itu innovation capabilities berperan sebagai mediator dalam menghubungkan ketiga variabel independen terhadap firm performance yang menunjukkan bahwa customer orientation, entrepreneurial orientation dan knowledge spillover dapat memberikan dampak optimal pada firm performance apabila dilakukan melalui inovasi. Dengan demikian, temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi UMKM batik penting untuk memprioritaskan pengembangan entrepreneurial orientation yaitu jiwa kewirausahaan, customer orientation untuk memahami kebutuhan atau keinginan pelanggan dan pemanfaataa knowledge spillover dari sumber eksternal bisnis untuk ditransformasi menjadi kammpuan inovasi yang kuat untuk meningkatkan keunggulan kompetitif bisnis yang kemudian berdampak pada kinerja bisnis.
