Abstract

Terkait isu kekerasan seksual di Indonesia, penelitian ini mengupas cara warganet Indonesia dalam menggunakan platform media sosial untuk membagikan informasi tentang kekerasan seksual, dengan berfokus pada pembingkaian kasus Nia Kurnia Sari yang banyak mendapat perhatian publik. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi konsep Moral Foundations Theory (MFT) yang paling sering muncul dalam cuitan terkait kasus tersebut dan untuk mengetahui konsep MFT mana yang memiliki dampak terbesar pada viralitas informasi sebagaimana diukur oleh jumlah keterlibatan media sosial. Melalui metode analisis kuantitatif, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa konsep MFT yang paling banyak digunakan dalam cuitan mengenai kasus Nia Kurnia Sari adalah care / harm. Sementara itu, konsep MFT yang paling berpengaruh dalam mendorong keterlibatan media sosial terkait kasus tersebut adalah sanctity / degradation. Karena tiap konsep membangkitkan respons emosional yang berimbas pada tingkat keterlibatan dan pembagian informasi, adanya konsep MFT dalam posting media sosial memiliki dampak signifikan pada perilaku pengguna.
