Abstract

Layanan konseling di sekolah memiliki peran strategis dalam membantu peserta didik mengatasi permasalahan pribadi, akademik, maupun sosial. Namun, efektivitas layanan tersebut sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas pribadi konselor dan faktor gender yang berhubungan dengan kenyamanan serta keterbukaan konseli. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pribadi konselor dan peran gender terhadap tingkat kepuasan konseli dalam layanan konseling, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain cluster random sampling. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri di Kota Semarang dengan jumlah 6.098 siswa, sedangkan sampel ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin dan menghasilkan 375 responden dari empat SMA Negeri. Instrumen penelitian berupa skala psikologis dengan model Likert lima poin. Analisis data dilakukan melalui regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pribadi konselor berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan konseli meskipun kontribusinya relatif kecil. Sebaliknya, peran gender konselor memberikan pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap kepuasan konseli, terutama terkait kenyamanan psikologis. Secara simultan, kombinasi kualitas pribadi dan kecocokan gender konselor berkontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kepuasan layanan konseling.
