Abstract

Tanggung jawab sosial (social responsibility) merupakan komitmen individu untuk berpartisipasi dalam memberikan manfaat kepada masyarakat dan lingkungan. Riset ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi psikometris untuk pengembangan alat ukur MSRS (Multidimensional Social Responsibility Scale). Jumlah partisipan dalam riset ini adalah 223, dengan 72 laki-laki dan 151 perempuan, berusia rata-rata 20.88 tahun (SD = 3.54). Hasil riset menunjukkan bahwa alat ukur MSRS memiliki enam informasi psikometris yang tergolong baik, meliputi: (a) content validity; (b) face validity; (c) internal consistency reliability (?): 0.715 (interpersonal), 0.847 (komunitas/organisasi), 0.730 (negara), dan 0.723 (lingkungan); (d) norma pengukuran berbasis standard score; (e) criterion validity terhadap perilaku agresif, r(221) = -0.261, p < 0.01; dan (f) construct validity (convergent evidence) dengan Personal Social Responsibility Questionnaire (Watson et al., 2003), r(221) = 0.759, p < 0.01; serta construct validity (distinct group evidence). berdasarkan jenis kelamin, t(221) = 1.904, p = 0.058 dengan nilai tanggung jawab sosial perempuan lebih tinggi dibanding laki-laki. Keenam informasi psikometris ini mendukung penggunaan MSRS dalam riset tanggung jawab sosial dewasa muda serta asesmen sebagai dasar intervensi psikologis untuk menurunkan agresivitas dewasa muda.
